I had a really nice stay at Southgate. The King Room felt spacious and comfortable. Clean bathrooms and the hot water worked perfectly. The location was convenient, close to dining options and just off the highway. However, there were a few issues. The bed pillows were too thick, making for an awkward sleep position. Some of the rooms could use an update, specifically the bathroom, which showed signs of rust. A few more electrical outlets for charging devices would also be beneficial. Overall, a solid choice, but with room for improvement.

The outdoor, in-ground pool was a surprise. totally unexpected and a hit with my kids. Plus, the staff really made us feel welcome, it's like they recognized the chaos of family travel and offered help anytime we needed it.
